How many shells (shotgun) Can I bring in????? Can not find any info on the matter

200 is duty free, I read somewhere (I think the royal mounted police site) that you can bring up to 5000 but again any more than 200 you would likely have to pay a duty.

I've taken as many as 1000 without paying duty so it depends where you cross and the mood of the officers. The 200 is correct though.

That is what I was told as well and stuck to it and had no problems crossing over. But if they don't ask about it, I wouldn't say nothing.
