My favorite duck call is a dead timber acrylic be cutt down game calls, and for geese i like a canada hammer. 4 whistling i have the primo high roller. :thumbsup:

right now i have a Foiles Meatgrinder, and an old P.S. Olt duck call...gona be gettin a Zink Paralyzer in maple over the summer but i havent gotten to bass pro to pick out the duck call im gona get. lookin at a Zink powerhen or RNT daisy cutter

I just stick with my $4 1/2 Walmart Call. It works fine for me, and im just a novis, ya know what they say, "it aint the call infront of the man, its the man behind the call" Well thats atleast what I say.

Fraz ill give you credit for the RNT but man yentzen? IDK i just have a phobia with double reeds i cant stand em. You know how the jewish ppl have a bar-mihtzva and then they become a man? well i think every young hunter should have to learn a single reed and the like blow it to be certified that they can blow a single reed and then they become a man when it comes to duck calling.

sounds good but you could say that the double reeds are for the old farts who have already mastered the single reed and just like to relax by blowing a double.
Actually, I just think that is a REALLY ducky call and the ducks in these flooded timber holes around here love it.
I just bought an Olt D-2 so that may become my meat call this year.
Usually, I just blow whichever call I pick up first :mrgreen:

yea hey, if its working why not keep usin it. I just never had success with a double. and whenever i reach down to my lanyard there's no chance to pick up a double if you catch my drift.

For geese I use a Snake River and a Gander Valley custom call. For ducks I have a RNT Quack head single and a Buck Gardener double reed call.

Take em, how do you like the Snake River? And do you have the interpreter or the flock hypnotizer? They're good lookin calls and if they sound as good as they look I think i'm going to be adding one to the lanyard pretty soon :mrgreen:

I would recomend getting it.....it's AWESOME! I wish I could figure out how to do a sound file...I would post one for you. I'm not POSITIVE on the one I have but I think I have the Flock Hyptonizer.....and if it is, I suggest getting that. It gives sweet sounds.....awesome high balls, great clucks, you can make realy low goosey moans but yet it can get real high like a yearling squacking around. man im telling yall single reeds are the way to go. i know if used right a double can sound really good, but once you get that there's nothing else to do to enhance your callin skills
