Went to our spot this morning for opening day. 10 minutes before legal shooting time 40-50 ducks came into our spot. What do you do in this situation - spook them and wait til they come back without shooting? Wait for legal shooting time and try to shoot a couple as they all fly out? One challenge is that this is most, if not all of the ducks in the area.

I'd wait and shoot them on the way out. If you spook them before lst what's to say they'll be back?

I agree but have to say that over time, that has been my lowest percentage shot. :fingerhead:
I do try and wait till as long after first LST as possible so I have some light. Woodies in particular get as impatient as I am though it seems.
