It's sorta dead in here killerfornia guys! Where's everyone at or what's everyone doing. Haven't been here for a while.

Well I've been busy at the range testing new loads for my new custom rifle and patterning my gun for dove and ducks. I found a new load/choke for doves but still working on the ducks. I'm also hitting the skeet range and local sporting clays. I've been doing pretty good hittin em. Also my wife graduated from college and while she's going to over 60 interviews a week i've been spending time with my 4 month son. The striper and sturgeon season is well over for me and theres no salmon season too so my next stop would be at the coast crabbing and camping. I've also been hitting the drag races and drifting events. I still got hunter safety to teach too and gotta take care of my ol' man, he's been sick. Oh and of course I got you guys to talk with. The glenn county fair just went by and that was cool. I hate to mention it but there's also this thing called WORK. Well i pretty much have my hands full UNTIL DUCK SEASON, that's when EVERYTHING is CANCELLED and CALLED OFF. If anyone needs me, I'm at the blind.

Still hanging out here. Spending pretty much every weekend doing the softball travel ball thing with my daughter. Looking forward to some camping around the local lakes in late July & August. May plan a couple of rock cod trips as well. Overall, just watching gas prices head for the moon and wondering how I'm going to budget for the coming duck season and daughter's travel ball. This season's going to be real interesting.

Duckbud I hear that on the softball thing. I got this weekend off and then 5 weekends in a row. After that were going to Seattle for western nationals. Coaching girls softball pretty much takes up all my free time until hunting season starts. Anyhow still around just waiting for deer results now

There over at another site complaing about how pathetic their dogs and their friend's dogs are. Kind of pathetic.

Hell, they're even talking about their gardening over on that other site. Getting pretty bad.

Yeah, hntreric, this travelball gig can keep ya busy. I think I've told you before that this is my daughter's first season in the 10u. Lotta fun, I sure can say that and my dd's already looking forward to the fall league. Chasing ducks is going to get a little tougher for me this coming season. :crazy2:

Abalone season almost perfectly compliments with hunting seasons, April 1 to Nov. 31. I'm not an expert but anyone thinking of giving it a try , let me know. I got some extra gear you could try, I don't have an extra suit though. Or if anyone from the Bay Area wants to go for a dive lemme know.
Bummer about the Salmon this year, but who can afford gas anyway?

Wingnut, no baseball as of now, my lazy friends are too busy watching duck porn. Just some basketball with some old high school friends.

Terry, I sure will tell my wife you said that, thanks!

Why don't we plan a DHC Cali BBQ or something, kill off some time and get the duck fever out of us for a few hours.

I quit reading the dead flocknockers worthless page months ago. Is that what they are complaining about over there? Dogs and gardening?
Not Flocknockers...the other site...but I agree, Flocknocker has become absolutely dead. There isn't even anything to complain about over there. CLIFF - :hammer:

Now that's funny. I am going to use the heck out of that one.

Trout fishing for me. Got Turkey season out of the way and not anything to shoot right now. May take up golf again.

Oh, and at least an hour per day hoping, thinking and praying for rain this year.

Terri - this post is about what's everyone been doing lately. I happen to be quite involved in my daughter's softball and really enjoy it. Gotta problem with it? You can be such an a**hole and always have to throw your negitive .02 in. Go play with your camera old man.

Just been doing alot of work on the club. Me and my old man put in 2 new electric pumps and gave the diesel a tune up. Next is the bass pond. Hydrilla took over. Looks like we have to gut it and make it at least 3-5 feet deeper in some areas. By Sunday all the millo, corn, jap millet will be in the ground. " I go to work all week just to go to work again on the weekend. Thiers somethin wrong here. "

It is too bad, but as one of the moderators over there told me the site owner is bipolar has turned into the second coming of Hoosier Jim. Not much you can do over there unless you genuflect to the site owner, and even then you never know what is happening. I got in trouble for defending CWA and COHA for something positive they were doing for hunters - all he did was complain about gays and liberals in CA. Unfortunate because there are some experienced guys over there, but it is not a good place to exchange ideas anymore.

not only that but you have to be really careful what words you use in those discussions as you found out.
christ i got warned about letters, not even words.

seems everyone has such delicate sensabilites these days ;nancyboy:

this is what happens when it goes from a public opinion page to public opinion only if i agree with it .

just never been a go along to get along kind of guy. feel sorry for those that are but it is the society that is being bred these days.
