Just picked up a very very lightly used winchester sx3 20ga. What are yalls thoughts on this little shotty. Ive never owned a winchester semi, price was right for the reviews ive read. If this thing has had a case of shells through it i would be very surprised! Paid $650 for it. Looking forward to putting it to use come sept 1. Any feedback? Good, bad, ugly!?
It's a great gun and does everything a semi automatic shotgun should do, the rest will fall on you. Unless there is an underlying issue I can't imagine you will be displeased with how ot performs as long as it fits you.

Side note, are you hunterhewi on archery talk as well?

Those 20s will kill everything i want to hunt just as dead as any 12 at the yardages i kill birds. I dont shoot over 40 even with the 12 gauge. If i cant work birds closer than that, then i dont need to be shooting at them. Just bought 5 cases of federal bismuth . Ive always wanted to try it but tefuse to pay what they want. Found a SCREAMING deal from a local (3hr drive) retired game warden that i could not pass up. Guess ill see how it performs!
If you don't ever shoot at ranges exceeding 40 yards, why do you want bismuth loads??

My input on why I shoot bismuth on my decoying shot is. I want them dead in the decoys. A lot easier on my old lab. I personally don’t shoot a 20 my preference is a 2 3/4 12 almost the same payload
