Buddy and I were shooting some Wolf steel shot that he bought at cabelas for like $5 a box. Half the shells when you pulled the trigger there was no recoil, and the shot rolled out the end of the barrel. The wad went a whooping 2 feet. He is gonna try to get his money back from wolf. This stuff is junk. Thank god I had 3/4 of a box of Kent fast steel in the blind bag.

Hi All

Sounds like you got a bad batch of shells--check the crimps and you certainly should send them back--E-mail Cabbellas and they would be very interested in getting the old shells back!!

Weak crimps are the most common reason for bloopers.---Lack of powder would yeild the same results!

Let us know the outcome of it all!

Good Hunting!

i shot a whole case of wolf with no problems. maybe your buddy got some really old shells, and thats why they were so cheap. i think they are a good shell, for the price, better than estate or pmi.
