I want to put something along the lines of tuff coat on my wooden surfaces of my duck boat... i want it to be black.... any Suggestions? Or stuff that worked good for yourself?
Thanks Patrick
Whenever i put something wood in my boat, i will put three coats of Sikkens (sp) weatherproofing on it, and then paint it with this stuff from west marine called bilgecoat. You can get it in a bunch of different colors, and it goes on real easy
You can put 2 coats of marine epoxy on all surfaces/sides of the wood so that water will never touch the wood. This way it can not rot. Then you can paint it with whatever you want, including tuff coat. Be carefull with the black...that chit gets HOT in the summer time.
