Guys I know treated wood is a no-no for the houses but has anyone used that synthetic wood...the trex decking?
Will that hurt the ducks?

I suspect it is like plywood with the glues, so does not breathe too well. Yes likley better than plastic or metal, but not the best. Read over my "how to" topic down below. Lots of tips there.
the best wood is cedar or cypress. Talk to your state DNR or Fish and Game for more Info
