I went out this afternoon to do a little scouting and am pondering hunting in the morning. I checked both locations north of the lake, but I have some questions. FIrst of all, I heard people still duck hunting on the lake, do you not have to stop hunting on the lake @ 1 as I was out there well after 1? Second, online it says there is another portion on the east side of highway 75, is it the same setup as on the west side of 75? Finally, this is the biggest WMA I've ever been on, does anyone have any suggestions? I'm not looking for anyones honey hole just some general info.

I hunted Copan only once and it was back when that was the last area in the state you could use lead shells.

I am sure it has changed but all I remember is a lot of flooded trees and deep water. We had a tough time finding spots due to the drop offs.

You only have to stop hunting at 1:00 within the WDU boundries. As for the rest of the lake and surrounding areas you can hunt untill official sunset.
