Guess it depends on the shape it's in.
Go on e-bay and see what older mec's are going for.
I got a mec 400 for $20... I can't imagian it's worth too much more than that.

 

Thank you, it's in decent shape for it's age. I got them both for 73$ so I guess I can't complain to much, just don't need the other one.

 

There are two on ebay, one at $95 and no takers (obviously) and one at $25 plus $10 shipping and no takers yet. Both are set up for 20 gauge, which typically run at a higher price than 12 gauge reloaders.

 

Well. Thanks for the info, feeling a little screwed now. Oh well the one was my grandpa's so it has more meaning to me then the money.

 

I wouldn't say you were screwed. Who knows what it'll be worth in a few years?
Me being the sort of person I am, I'd try to set it up to do some specific job like loading buckshot (viz. something that's slow anyway and where you only need to deprime, prime, and crimp). Just my thoughts.

 

That's a pretty good idea, thanks :thumbsup: . Got my grandpa's 600 jr. cleaned up from years of dust and gunk, bought a new primer seat assembly for it, looking good and ready to get going.
