Someone PMed me asking:
"At this time I have mainly AA (old) and rem sts. I read about a load that goose2007 mentioned in 2/26/17 regarding longshot. It's a BPI load but the load was removed. Do you know if it is ok to use?"
I have a load from BPI number 507 29826, that I have typed a comment goose pit 2007 likes this. So I'm guessing that may be the one. It's in a 12 gauge 2.75 inch Remington STS or Gun Club shell, win 209 primer, 26.0gr long shot, mg42 wad, overshot card, 1 oz of steel shot. 10600 PSI and 1400 FPS with a fold crimp. The source is the mg42 load sheet, LD 12 - mg42. I don't know if BPI doesn't publish this in their advantages anymore or what, but it's on the load sheet with pretty low pressure and I would think it would be fine.
There are 4 published loads of 1oz steel, 1435 to 1495 fps with asteel powder. Notably lightning steel 32 and 33, lymans 5th, RFS5, AND LD12mm1275 wadsheet. Plus an overpressure datapoint from Wildflights, he sent a load to Tom armbrust with a cut-down ctps wad and fed 209a primer, it was 13460 PSI. Otherwise it was same as LS33, so that's a cautionary tale not to substitute a federal primer to me.
