Pretty Cool...Father served in Korea, he'd be proud.

Speaking of proud, I stand by that as they were some of his best years before me. :ROFLMAO:

But I do still chuckle when he told me that when he and Mom had moved to Florida to work a small business he bought that the "crowd" in his condo community were basically, retired rich guys (which he wasn't) or retired "cool" dudes (which I'm not sure he was either. :unsure:

Anyway - after most dinner parties or events at the club house, out came the weed. I guess it was a big deal for these older guys and they had great fun getting high. So he tried it. And he liked it. :ROFLMAO:

I guess he also liked the fact that the next morning there was no hint of any "hangover". That part scared him. :unsure::LOL:

Not sure if or how much he ever smoked after that given his concern it would be easy to get "used to" with no repercussions the next day. I was proud of him though. Never woulda thought it.

It’s Semper Paratus…

Semper Fidelis is the Marines.

lol.

I’m a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary we don’t get to do all the cool stuff the active duty folks get to do…

They are awesome though!
Oh yeah! I sometimes get that backwards but in my defense I'm checking for spelling . And when I do, I get cross ways because the revolutionary "AI" Artificial Intelligence is going to revolutionize the world, make software companies rich, social media platforms even richer and autonomously drive your truck.

Isn't that neato whizbang? :unsure::rolleyes:

Was checked years ago by such a gal. Had the wife,son and his wife, plus 2 small grandkids on board. Was told right out of the gate "To many people in a rowboat" The "rowboat" is a 18.5 Lund Alaskan SS,all safety gear and was rated higher than I was loaded. When I pointed to the ratings tag she about dropped her clip board. Never seen anything but Bass Boats, pontoons, and Jet Skis I guess. Started to walk away in a huff so to poke the bear I asked for a inspection sticker. Somebody else finished for her. H ells bells my boat doesn't even have oar locks.

Man, that is true on the bass boats. I get that they are for the "elite" bass slayers and fiberglass certainly requires 250HP outboards, but you really can't fit that many people onboard. :unsure: Your boat, Mike da Fox, Spinners, L&L's, etc. are all sweet rides you can get a helluva lot use of, more comfortably. I'm always amazed at how much money 1 man can spend on a bass boat.
